How Indian Rummy works

The standard 13-card game is easy to begin, but rewards careful observation and smart card management.

Receive 13 cardsArrange your hand and look first for a pure sequence without a joker.
Draw one, discard oneOn every turn, take a card from the closed or open pile and discard one card.
Make sequences and setsA valid hand normally needs at least two sequences, including one pure sequence.
Declare and verifyPlace all 13 cards into valid groups, discard the final card and submit the hand for checking.
