Points, Pool and Deals Rummy share the same 13-card foundation, but change how a match is scored and how long it lasts.

A fast format where one valid declaration ends the deal. Losing players receive points for unmatched cards, normally capped at 80.
Points accumulate across deals. A player reaching the stated 101 or 201-point limit is eliminated; the last remaining player wins.
A match contains a fixed number of deals. Players begin with an equal allocation and the final total determines the winner.
| Format | Match ending | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Points | After one deal | Short sessions and learning |
| 101 Pool | Last player below the limit | Medium-length competition |
| 201 Pool | Last player below the limit | Longer competition |
| Deals | After a fixed number of deals | Predictable match length |
